All of us have sinned.
Romans 3:23For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God
Sin separates us from God.
Romans 6:23For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
God loves us and Christ died for us.
Romans 5:8But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Salvation comes through faith in Jesus.
Romans 10:9–10That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Salvation is available to everyone.
Romans 10:13For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Salvation is not found in repeating certain words, but in repenting of your sins and placing your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ alone. If you desire to be saved, you may express that faith in prayer.
“Dear Lord Jesus,
I know that I am a sinner and that I cannot save myself. I believe that You died on the cross for my sins, was buried, and rose again the third day according to the Scriptures. I am trusting You alone for my salvation. I ask You to come into my heart, forgive my sins, and save me.
In Jesus’ name I pray.
Amen.
